and maxillofacial malformations or severe bone and soft
tissue defect.

The International Congress of Maxillofacial
and Craniofacial Distraction was first held in Paris from
June 19 to 21, 1997. About 500 delegates attended
this first congress. It was then held in 1999, 2001 and 2003
each time in Paris.
In 2003, 450 delegates from more than 40 countries attended
the 4th International congress !
